Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) NESTS has released an official notification for the recruitment of various Teaching and Non-Teaching posts (EMRS Recruitment 2025). The vacancies is for Principal, PGT, TGT, and Staff Nurse under teaching positions, as well as Hostel Warden, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Lab Attendant under non-teaching positions.   • Candidate must have passed the 10+2 Intermediate Examination and should possess a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
Lab Attendant
  • 10th Class Pass with a certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique from a recognised board/institute (OR)
  • 12th Class with Science stream from a recognised board/ institute.

The recruitment involves five main stages:

1. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test) – ESSE 2025

The EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2025) is the first and most important stage.

  • Mode: Online (CBT)

  • Type of Questions: Objective (MCQs)

  • Marking Scheme:

    • +1 mark for each correct answer

    • No negative marking (based on previous EMRS patterns, subject to final notice)

  • Syllabus Includes:

    • General Awareness

    • Reasoning Ability

Note:

  • Different posts have different question paper patterns.

2. Skill Test (For Certain Non-Teaching Posts)

For some non-teaching positions like Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) or Accountant, a typing/skill test may be conducted.

  • Typing Speed Requirement:

    • 35 words per minute in English OR

    • 30 words per minute in Hindi

  • Purpose: To check practical job-related skills.

3. Interview / Personality Test (Only for Principal & PGT)

  • Principal & PGT posts require an interview round after the written exam.

  • Weightage: Usually combined with written exam marks for final merit.

4. Document Verification
